Returns, Refunds & Warranty

At Hartvig, every wallet is handcrafted to order using premium full-grain leather. Because each piece is individually made, please read the following information carefully before placing your order.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled free of charge before production begins.

Once production has started, cancellation may no longer be possible, as materials and labor have already been committed to your order.

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible by filling in the contact page avaliable in the side menu on the website

Made-to-Order Products

All Hartvig wallets are handcrafted after an order is placed and produced according to the customer’s selected configuration, including leather and thread combinations.

As a result, products made specifically to a customer’s chosen specifications may not be eligible for return or refund once production has begun.

If you have any questions regarding your order before purchasing, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Items

We take great pride in our craftsmanship. If your order arrives damaged, contains a manufacturing defect, or differs from what was ordered, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs showing the problem

If the issue is confirmed to be a manufacturing defect or an error on our part, we will, at our discretion:

  • Repair the product
  • Replace the product
  • Issue a full or partial refund

In these cases, Hartvig will cover any necessary return shipping costs.

Natural Characteristics of Leather

Hartvig exclusively uses full-grain leather, a natural material with unique characteristics.

Natural variations such as:

  • Scars
  • Wrinkles
  • Veining
  • Grain variation
  • Color variation
  • Patina development over time

are not considered defects. These characteristics are part of what makes every Hartvig piece unique.

Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty

Every Hartvig wallet is backed by a Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty.

This warranty covers defects in workmanship, including:

  • Stitching failures
  • Hardware failures caused by manufacturing defects
  • Structural defects resulting from the construction of the wallet

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Scratches, scuffs, or staining
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, water exposure, or accidents
  • Natural leather aging and patina development

If you believe your wallet qualifies for warranty service, please contact us with photographs and a description of the issue.

Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, it will be issued using the original payment method.

Refunds are typically processed within 14 days of approval.
